My world is especially wonderful, and I feel lucky to live as I do. I live in Ammouliani, a small, as yet pristine Greek island in the north Aegean Sea. My husband fishes, I paint and together we raise and homeschool our twin daughters. During the summers we have a villa vacation rental business (you can find us via my blog listed below). All in all, life is very good.

I have been painting since I can remember. I have studied fine arts at the University of Minnesota and the University of LaVerne in Athens, Greece. I believe in lifelong learning and continue my education daily. Painting is my great eros and I am grateful that I was born with a paintbrush in my hand. Through this medium I am able to communicate to the world, through my creations, who I am without any language or cultural barriers. A vivid sense of freedom. My work is mostly impressionistic in nature with thick impasto strokes, sometimes stretching the boundaries of our perceived realities. I like bright, happy colors…. the Aegean is full of my favorite colors….. and I use high quality products to ensure the most vivid colors and texture for a beautiful outcome.
